Greek Survivor ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you purchase a license or use the Greek Survivor app.

1. Information We Collect

When you buy a license

• Email address — provided during Stripe checkout; used to deliver your license key
• Mobile phone number & carrier — optional, provided on the buy page; used only to send your license key via SMS
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or bank details
• Purchase metadata — license tier, amount paid, and Stripe session ID, stored in our licenses.json log

When you use the app as a game host

• Game data — player names, picks, payment status — stored only in your browser's localStorage on your device. We do not receive or store this.
• Your Stripe & Gmail credentials (BYOK) — stored in your browser's localStorage and sent only to the server you control. We never see your secret keys.

Automatically collected

• Basic server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and debugging — retained for up to 30 days
• No third-party analytics or advertising trackers are installed on this site

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and deliver your license key by email and/or SMS immediately after purchase
• To maintain a record of issued licenses so we can re-send keys or troubleshoot delivery issues
• To verify license validity when you contact us for support
• To comply with legal obligations (e.g., fraud prevention)

3. Third-Party Services

Stripe — We use Stripe to process license payments. When you check out, you interact directly with Stripe's secure servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to any data you provide during checkout: stripe.com/privacy

Gmail / Google SMTP — License key emails (and optional SMS-via-email) are sent using Gmail SMTP. Google's privacy policy applies to email transmission: policies.google.com/privacy

The Odds API / ESPN — The app fetches live sports data from these services. No personal data is shared with them.

ipapi.co / ip-api.com — Used only at first app load to detect your state for displaying relevant gaming law disclaimers. Your IP address is sent to these services for geolocation. No data is stored.

4. Data Storage & Security

• License purchase records are stored server-side in a licenses.json file with email addresses partially redacted in admin views
• All game data (players, picks, settings) lives entirely in your browser's localStorage — on your device only
• Payments are processed over HTTPS via Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure
• We do not operate a database of user accounts; there are no passwords to breach

5. Children's Privacy

Greek Survivor is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & deletion — Email us to request a copy of the data we hold about your purchase, or to have it deleted
• Opt out of SMS — Simply don't provide a phone number on the buy page. If you provided one and want it removed, email us
• Browser data — All in-app game data is stored in your browser. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use tracking cookies. The Greek Survivor app uses your browser's localStorage to save your license key, game settings, and player data locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly share it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Greek Survivor after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
